Josh Goossen

Josh grew up in Ontario. As a young boy, he was heavily involved in the church, and would spend most of his time doing anything and everything he could, serving the church. However, his involvement was more about him, and less about the Lord. He took pride in knowing the answers to everything, and being good at what he did. 

Then in grade 12, at a youth retreat, he was challenged by Pastor Ted Duncan. Using Psalm 63, Pastor Ted showed Josh that he was not earnestly seeking after the Lord, but earnestly seeking after knowledge. Although Josh had already given his life to the Lord at a young age, it was in this moment the Lord gripped his heart and called him into a deeper relationship with Him. This was the moment he began treasuring Jesus Christ, and wanted nothing more than for others to hear as well!

Josh and his wife Samantha have four children: Nevaeh, Liberty, Declan, and Tobias.

Their journey has not been an easy one, but Josh says, “the Lord has been gracious throughout all of it, and we want nothing more than to share of His faithfulness, goodness, mercy, and grace.”
